About the Job

This is a full-time remote IT support position that requires a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications. You will be working with various technologies, including Windows 10/11, M365, Active Directory / Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, and Xero.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Expert Technical Support: Respond to IT support tickets and inquiries via various channels, such as email or ticketing systems, and document solutions and resolutions.
  2. Solve Complex IT Problems: Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues, identifying root causes and escalating to supplier or partner organizations as required to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  3. Maintain IT Systems: Remotely install, configure, and maintain computer systems, mobile devices, software, printers, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and security.
  4. Manage User Access: Manage system user accounts and access permissions, ensuring data security and compliance with company policies.
  5. Train and Guide End-Users: Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT tools, applications, and best practices to enhance their productivity and technical proficiency.
Requirements
  • Educational Background: Possess a degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: A minimum 3-5 years prior experience providing support in three or more of the following areas: Windows 10/11, M365, Active Directory / Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, and Xero.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, and experience with remote support and management applications.
