Optimize E-commerce Operations

Utu is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead day-to-day operations and performance optimization of our Shopify website. The ideal candidate will be a sharp, detail-obsessed, and digitally savvy individual with expertise in sales, promotions, content updates, product merchandising, email and SMS campaigns, and site analytics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage and optimize all Product Display Pages (PDPs), ensuring accurate content, strong SEO, and conversion-forward design.
    • Oversee homepage, navigation, and seasonal merchandising updates.
    • Plan and execute product launches and sales promotions.
    • Monitor site daily to ensure uptime, product availability, and bug-free performance.
  • Content & Blog:
    • Update and publish blog content regularly.
    • Collaborate on ideas to tie site content to brand campaigns and seasonal storytelling.
  • Analytics & Optimization:
    • Monitor Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Analytics performance metrics.
    • Track and report on site health, Average Order Value (AOV), conversion rates, and bounce rates.
    • Make actionable recommendations to improve performance and customer experience.
  • Email & SMS Marketing:
    • Manage and grow revenue through email and SMS marketing.
    • Build, optimize, and test flows for welcome, post-purchase, abandoned cart, and win back.
    • Own the calendar for regular campaign sends, working with our creative team to execute beautifully branded, high-performing emails.
  • Team Liaison:
    • Communicate clearly with our offshore development team to troubleshoot bugs and implement technical updates.
    • Act as point person for all e-commerce operations questions within the broader Utu team.
