Warehouse Operations Manager

The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees the daily warehouse activities in a corrugated box manufacturing facility. This role ensures efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of raw finished goods and supplies while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead warehouse personnel in daily operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching of raw materials and finished corrugated boxes.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and proper documentation.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw paper rolls, adhesives, inks, and finished corrugated products to prevent damage or contamination.
  • Plan and allocate manpower, resources, and equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to meet operational requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with the Production, Planning, and Logistics departments for timely raw material issuance and finished goods dispatch.
  • Implement warehouse systems and procedures to maintain orderliness, efficiency, and compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, housekeeping (5S).
  • Prepare and submit reports on warehouse performance, stock status, and dispatch efficiency.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse personnel, recommending improvements and corrective actions when necessary.
  • Assist in resolving discrepancies in shipments, deliveries, and inventory records.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in warehouse/logistics operations, preferably in a corrugated box or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills with experience handling a warehouse team.
  • Knowledge in inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, 5S, and warehouse safety practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
