Manage and oversee Finance of the Homeowners Association of the village.

Duties and Responsibilities

Report to the AWHHAI General Manager (GM)

  • Update the GM and Board of Trustees (BOT) on relevant admin and financial issues.
  • Supervise daily activities related to treasury and accounting, customer relations, personnel management, purchasing and payroll processing.
  • Ensure implementation of AWHHAI policies and programs; Address the needs of all stakeholders (members, employees, government agencies, service providers, etc.).
  • Recommend policies and procedures, organize activities implement programs to meet the objectives of the AWHHAI Committees, such as, but not limited to the Finance and Planning, Legal and Administration, Membership and Communication, Sports, Social and Cultural Events.
  • Coordinate with the Engineering & Maintenance Manager and Security & Safety Manager to implement policies and procedures.
  • Manage staff performance through recruitment, coaching and mentoring, evaluation individual employees.
  • Assist the GM and BOD in establishing and maintaining partnerships with local government leaders and other external stakeholders.
  • Responsible for managing the full set of company accounts, this role involves developing and implementing financial processes across revenue, cash, assets, and accounts payable, while ensuring document compliance for accuracy and legitimacy in all financial areas. It includes planning and improving financial management systems such as billing, payroll, and A/P, overseeing the preparation and filing of all required state and local taxes, managing cash flow to ensure sufficient working capital, and exercising control over overall corporate expenses.
  • Responsible for coordinating with various Committee heads on administrative functions, budgeting, and financial planning, this role involves preparing and reviewing proposed budgets aligned with the objectives of the Board of Trustees or Finance Committee. It also includes preparing, consolidating, and monitoring the AWHHAI operating budget and providing monthly expense reports for financial tracking and transparency.
  • Responsible for overseeing bookkeeping, maintaining financial and member records, and ensuring proper filing of key Association documents in coordination with the Corporate Secretary.
  • Responsible for managing procurement processes in line with the financial system, ensuring requests are budgeted and properly approved, and that contracted services are supported by valid contracts. Also assists in audit preparations, coordinates schedules with third-party auditors, and works closely with the Board of Trustees to fulfill audit requirements.
