About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Programme Director with extensive experience in banking transformation projects to lead end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large-scale banking transformation programmes, ensuring timely delivery, quality results, and effective stakeholder management.
  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and issue resolution strategies.
  • Facilitate regular steering committee and stakeholder meetings, providing clear reporting on project progress, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Ensure seamless data migration, system integration, and go-live activities, driving user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination, training plans, and post-go-live support strategies.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of regulatory, security, and governance standards, ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of managing complex banking transformation projects with multiple vendor environments and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management tools and methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, budgeting, and risk management skills, with a strong understanding of banking domain knowledge - retail, corporate, digital, or treasury.
  • Able to oversee migration, interface design, SIT/UAT, and cutover plans, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Possess relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile, and experience with cloud-based deployments is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Temenos T24 certification or experience with Temenos tools is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with Temenos Infinity and exposure to cloud-based T24 deployments (Azure, AWS, Temenos SaaS) is an asset.
