
Education Sector Business Development Executive

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. This part-time position involves spearheading efforts to target and acquire institutional partners, particularly colleges and universities in the USA and Canada.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of closing large deals and building long-term strategic partnerships. They will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing partnerships, as well as conducting thorough market research to understand the specific challenges and needs of the education sector.
In this role, you will develop tailored strategies for engaging with institutional clients, creating proposals, and presenting our value proposition to academic decision-makers. You will also manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, and negotiate terms, finalize contracts, and ensure a smooth handoff to the partnerships team for onboarding.
You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of our platform within partnered institutions. Additionally, you will actively work to expand existing partnerships, identify emerging trends in the higher education sector, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred). You must have at least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships, preferably within the education sector or EdTech.
Beyond your professional expertise, you should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and outstanding relationship-building skills. A proactive approach to maintaining and nurturing long-term partnerships is essential.
