
Operational Leadership Role

This role oversees and manages day-to-day operations across Logistics, Purchasing, and Administration.
The Operations Manager works closely with management to drive operational excellence, cost efficiency, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Logistics Function
- Monitor vehicle and delivery van repairs and maintenance.
- Approve and oversee daily delivery schedules.
- Manage logistics, transportation, and customer service functions.
- Track quality, quantity, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
- Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle.
- Resolve delivery-related complaints and operational issues.
- Purchasing Function
- Approve purchase requisitions and orders.
- Handle costing of raw materials, machinery, spare parts, and imports.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding orders and shipping status.
- Manage importation, shipping schedules, and coordination with forwarders and brokers.
- Approve Indent Order Contracts, international bookings, and duties/taxes computations.
- Develop and implement purchasing strategies, ensuring supplier reliability.
- Monitor and forecast demand for raw materials and products.
- Administrative Function
- Oversee company facilities and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure timely renewal of permits and licenses.
- Approve and verify liquidation, reimbursements, and payment requests.
- Approve cash advances and petty cash expense summaries.
- Monitor and approve monthly utility bills, expenses, and insurance policies.
- Contribute to achieving operational and strategic objectives.
- Human Resource Function
- Implement and monitor company policies and programs.
- Direct HR staff in preparing employee memoranda.
- Review and recommend compensation packages and benefits.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise employees.
- Address personnel concerns and foster a productive workplace.
- Enhance workforce efficiency through process improvements and effective communication.
- Other Responsibilities
- Perform additional tasks or special projects assigned by management.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. The candidate should have minimum 2–4 years of progressive experience in operations, with exposure to manufacturing, logistics, purchasing, and HR.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Solid knowledge of importation processes, permits, and compliance requirements is necessary. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and process improvement methodologies is required.
