
Patient Services Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our patient support team, you will be responsible for responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients calling or visiting our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to understand the needs of each patient by actively listening to their concerns and gathering relevant information.
Once you have a clear understanding of the patient's needs, you will work with various departments, such as medical personnel and administrative staff, to ensure that the patient receives the necessary assistance and support. You will also be responsible for coordinating information with third-party entities, such as insurance companies.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to work effectively with minimal supervision, handle confidential information with discretion, and perform simple mathematical calculations with accuracy.
In addition to these skills, you should be highly motivated, organized, and able to meet deadlines. You should also be a team player who is supportive of department and company goals and policies.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to incoming calls and emails from patients in a timely and professional manner.
- Listening to patient concerns and gathering relevant information to address their needs.
- Coordinating information with medical personnel, administrative staff, and third-party entities.
- Ensuring that patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of call center experience in a similar industry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Highly motivated and organized individual who can meet deadlines.
- Team player who is supportive of department and company goals and policies.
