About This Role

This position is responsible for managing bid documents, organizing proposal submissions, and coordinating deadlines. The Bid Coordinator will work closely with project managers, estimators, and clients to gather required information and ensure accurate and timely submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects.
  • Ensure that all RFPs are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with the requirements set out in the request for proposal (RFP) documents.

Document Management:

  • Manage and organize all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines.

Team Coordination:

  • Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other team members to gather necessary information and facilitate the preparation of comprehensive bids.
  • Independently manage workload calendars for assigned regions.
  • Extremely organized and meet workload demands and goals.
  • Tracking customer contacts, bidding the same project for estimators to send bids to.

Requirements:

  • Construction industry experience is a plus.
  • Familiar experience with mechanical drawings is a plus.
  • Proven track record of multitasking, as well as Outlook email organization.
  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office products knowledge (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Highest levels of attention to detail to produce quality documents and ability to work under pressure and demanding deadlines.
  • Show a positive attitude towards customers and the team every day.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and understand prioritization.
  • Self-starter but work well in a team environment.
  • Exceptional desire to please customers.
