About the Role:

As a key member of our estimating team, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and estimators to ensure timely submission of high-quality bids.

Bid Preparation and Submission

  • Lead the coordination and preparation of bid packages and proposals for various construction projects, ensuring that all RFPs are submitted internally in a timely manner and in compliance with requirements set out in RFP documents.

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines for all bid documents, including RFPs, technical specifications, drawings, and other related documents.

Document Management

  • Manage and organize all bid documents, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with submission guidelines.

  • Independently manage workload calendars of assigned regions, tracking customer contacts and bidding on same projects for estimators to send bids.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in the construction industry is highly valued.

  • Familiarity with mechanical drawings is an asset.

  • Excellent time management, critical thinking, and organizational skills are essential.

  • Strong Microsoft Office products knowledge, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail to produce quality documents under pressure and demanding deadlines.

  • A positive attitude towards customers and teams is vital.

  • Self-starting abilities with a strong work ethic in a team environment.

  • Prioritization and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
