Program Design Manager Job Description

The Program Design Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize partner relationships and drive revenue growth. This role involves designing programs and initiatives to support partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Trade Marketing functions related to one or more channels: National Sales, Affinity, On-Line, PTS, Stores, Retailer Channels
  • Lead updates and alignment to include channel/trade insights, competitive updates, and Brand offers and Brand Reviews
  • Develop and review program performance per channel/sub channel and maintain updated channel profiles and sub channel behavior
  • Correlate available information to create and implement the right program for the right channel/market
  • Provide market feedback on programs implemented
  • Craft and develop channel-initiated promos and customize Brand-initiated programs
  • Create quarterly promos/programs
  • Coordinate with channel heads on strategies for channel-wide or sub-channel program implementation
  • Coordinate with the NTMG Brand SPOC on brand-led programs for customization and implementation in sales channels
  • Support all program implementation tasks (documentation – PWP/work plan recommendations/approval; stock allocation; cashiering guidelines; cascade with set guidelines and parameters)
  • Coordinate execution of programs with relevant support groups and channels to ensure alignment with brand and channel strategies
  • Traffic and manage channel-initiated and brand-initiated programs to avoid duplication, reduce waste, prevent spill-over, and bridge targets
  • Maintain a consolidated calendar of execution for all sponsored programs/activities
  • Lead the consolidation of post-analysis reports for all promos/programs executed in the channels
  • Identify consumer and channel insights on what worked and areas for improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve future program runs based on best practices
