Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Financial Operations Manager to lead our accounting team and drive strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in our financial statements.
  • Analyze sales, margins, and expenses to identify opportunities for improvement and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain a close eye on budget vs. actual performance, presenting key insights to leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Liaise with auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal control procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve excellence in financial management.
  • Evaluate processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Accountancy degree; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
  • No less than 5-7 years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 3 years in management roles.
  • Demonstrated expertise in retail companies, particularly supermarkets, is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS principles is required.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as Acumatica, is advantageous.
  • Possesses strong analytical, collaborative, and adaptable skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
