Financial Operations Specialist

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will support day-to-day financial activities with a focus on expense management, coding accuracy, and preparation of financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate categorization of corporate spend by account and department before month-end close.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to correct or complete financial coding and documentation.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues in expense classification and propose solutions.
  • Monitor and validate classification of key expense types.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing data for financial reporting.
  • Support ad hoc finance requests.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations support roles.
  • High proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Excel skills with working knowledge of formulas, pivot tables, and data cleanup techniques.
  • Effective communication skills to resolve discrepancies and clarify procedures.
