Procurement Leadership Role

To lead and oversee the entire sourcing process by conducting research, developing and executing strategy as well as preparing, negotiating and recording business contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises a team or manages assigned sub-function, including but not limited to:
    • Sourcing Manager:
      • Manages the RFx process, including conducting supplier due diligence and facilitating supplier demos
      • Drives selection strategy based on market knowledge, commodity, and long-term business objectives
      • Conducts market research to assess options in the market, identify possible suppliers
      • Recaps supplier proposals for LOB and makes a supplier selection recommendation to the LOB
      • Partners with LOB to develop a list of requirements
      • Contract Manager:
        • Drafts governing agreements
        • Partners with the Third Party Manager and LOB in the development and execution of overall negotiation strategy
        • Partners with the Third Party Manager to socialize risks with the LOB and AE
        • Routes deals for signature once all due diligence has been completed
        • Manages transactions effectively to meet business timelines
        • Develops people, engages team in regular coaching and feedback to improve performance and develop competencies. Conducts mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
        • May be assigned / rotated across related sub-functions
        • Other job-related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
        Qualifications and Skills
        • Must be a graduate of any college degree; preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business degree
        • Has 10 years relevant work experience with 5 years experience in the function
        • 5 years' managerial experience
        • Must have relevant experience in complying with US regulatory requirements and processes
        • Must have contracting experience specifically with HR services
        • Strong technical skills
        • Strong negotiation skills
        • Good attention to detail
        • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
