Automation Engineer Role

We are seeking a talented Automation Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team.

This is a techno-functional position where you'll analyze system issues, triage bugs, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. You'll be responsible for implementing and optimizing financial systems, focusing on automation technologies.

You'll bridge the gap between business and technology, ensuring efficient, scalable, and aligned financial processes with our growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Closely collaborate with integration and automation teams to automate key financial processes and workflows.
  • Interview business users to identify opportunities for automation and propose solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Dive into system processes to understand, document, and propose optimizations.
  • Work with integration APIs to build and manage automated data flows between systems.
  • Analyze market AI solutions to identify opportunities and propose beneficial solutions.

Business Requirements & Analysis:

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
  • Analyze existing and future state business processes, systems, and data flows.
  • Develop documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
  • Define system requirements and solutions with internal and external technology teams.
  • Participate in implementation projects (requirements documentation, system configuration, test execution, issue resolution).

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience implementing enterprise applications or SaaS software.
  • Good understanding of ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
  • Proficient in SQL, JavaScript, and data mapping concepts.
  • NetSuite scripting and development experience required.
  • Experience with web services integrations (REST/SOAP), integration APIs, and RPA platforms beneficial.
  • Ability to perform research and analysis on new technologies, including AI solutions.
