Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Business Process Improvement Specialist to join our team.


Collaborate with our Finance department as part of the Enterprise Applications team to drive process enhancements, automation, system integration, and system administration for financial operations.


Responsibilities
  • Work with Finance and Payroll/Payment team members to identify and implement improvements to business processes using technology for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.
  • Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
  • Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and a thorough understanding of the work being undertaken.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, including systemic changes to prevent recurrence.

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
  • Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes.
  • Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking to leverage flexible systems and processes.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
  • High emotional intelligence and a sense of humor.
