HR Lead Position

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to lead our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to manage daily operations and contribute to the strategic direction of the HR function.

The role requires a strong background in Employee Relations and Compensation & Benefits, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be organized, proactive and confident in presenting data, ideas and recommendations.

Familiarity with business operating systems like EOS is highly desirable, but not necessary.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor a team of HR Officers across key HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, timekeeping and admin;
  • Coordinate team priorities and ensure timely and efficient execution of HR projects and daily tasks;
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement within the HR team;
  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of core HR processes including onboarding, employee records management, timekeeping, government compliance and offboarding;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances and disciplinary issues;
  • Liaise with Finance and external partners to ensure accurate payroll processing and timely remittances;
  • Evaluate compensation structures to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness;
  • Collaborate with company leadership to assess organizational needs and provide aligned HR strategies;
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR generalist roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity;
  • Strong background in Employee Relations and Compensation & Benefits;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Organized, proactive and confident in presenting data, ideas and recommendations;
  • Ability to strike the right balance between compliance and employee-centric practices;
