We are seeking a skilled Crisis Support Specialist to join our team. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will provide critical support to individuals in need, ensuring they receive the help and guidance required to navigate challenging situations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and empathetic professional to make a real difference in people's lives. As a Crisis Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing emotional support, crisis intervention, and resources to individuals experiencing mental health crises, substance abuse issues, or other forms of distress.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide Emotional Support: Offer a listening ear and provide emotional support to individuals in crisis, helping them feel heard and understood.
  • Crisis Intervention: Use your skills and training to intervene in crisis situations, de-escalating conflicts and promoting calm.
  • Resources and Referrals: Provide individuals with access to local resources, services, and referrals, helping them find the support they need to recover.
Requirements:
  • Mental Health Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience working in mental health, crisis support, or a related field.
  • Training and Certification: Completed training in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) or equivalent, and certification in Psychological First Aid and Suicide Prevention.
  • Education: A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field is preferred.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Tagalog is required.
