
Crisis Support Specialist

This role is ideal for those seeking to make a difference in the lives of individuals affected by disasters.
The Disaster Relief Call Center Representative will be part of a team providing critical support services during times of crisis. They will assist customers with service inquiries, learn common requests and solutions, improve customer experiences, utilize service techniques and systems, and escalate customer dissatisfaction to proper channels.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, or chat
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Meet performance standards and metrics set by the company
- Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Candidates must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
- The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute)
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems
- Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- An aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
- Customer service orientation with empathy, responsiveness, patience, and conscientiousness
- Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage
- Strong team orientation and customer focus
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
