Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Specialist to join our team and oversee financial transactions, record-keeping, and reporting for construction projects.

This is a remote opportunity that offers a flexible schedule and a chance to work with a variety of clients in the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, finance, and bookkeeping, as well as strong analytical and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable">
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in accounting software">
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports for management review">
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements">
  • Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations">
  • Track invoices, expenses, and payments to ensure timely collections and disbursements">
  • Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field">
  • At least 2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role">
  • Familiarity with the construction industry and job costing">
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software">
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills">
  • Strong English communication skills">
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting">
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines">
