Project Oversight Specialist

The successful candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely progress and budget compliance.

This is a remote position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm Central Time, including a one-hour unpaid break.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support project planning and coordination, overseeing budgets and subcontractors.
  • Track project progress, milestones, and budgets, addressing risks and issues promptly.
  • Manage project schedules, scope, and inspections required by authorities.
  • Utilize project management software for task management and reporting.
  • Maintain documentation and facilitate communication among stakeholders.
  • Handle financial aspects such as estimating, change orders, and project closeout.
Requirements:
  • 4 to 6 years of construction or project management experience or equivalent education.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience in residential construction, particularly townhouses, single-family homes, and small apartments.
  • Effective communication skills with subcontractors, vendors, and government agencies.
  • Ability to prepare and track project timelines and budgets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
  • A team player willing to work in a fast-paced, growing business.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and civil plans.
  • Experience with construction estimating and takeoffs.
