Regional Volunteer Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Volunteer Coordinator to support the management and engagement of volunteers in the Middle East and North Africa region.

The successful candidate will work closely with host country staff and program operations to determine volunteer team roles needed and coordinate international volunteer placements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Volunteer Placements: Work with host country staff and program operations to identify volunteer team roles and coordinate international volunteer placements.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to offer international volunteer positions to partner and program countries in an equitable manner, while supporting their volunteer engagement goals.
  • Volunteer Management: Coordinate all aspects of volunteer placement, including flight logistics and preparation, with volunteer management staff.
  • Credentialing Support: Ensure that documentation is complete and processed for volunteer credentialing.
  • Evaluation and Feedback: Assess volunteer evaluations and escalate priority issues/comments to appropriate staff.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, program management, project management, non-profit studies, international studies, communications, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in volunteer coordination, customer service, or project management.
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
