Job Title: Business Development Professional

 

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Professional to identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and networking.

 

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the bidding process, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive bid proposals in response to client requests and analyzing bid specifications to ensure compliance and maximize bid potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market research and industry connections
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals in response to client requests
  • Analyze bid specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and maximize bid potential
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Track and report on bid status, outcomes, and sales performance metrics

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on business development and bid preparation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Familiarity with industry-specific bidding platforms and databases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
