Customer Retention Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing assigned customer accounts and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of complex software quoting and licensing principles, as well as experience with sales operations and customer success management platforms.

You will work directly with customers to ensure a smooth onboarding process and provide proactive support to drive renewals and expansions.

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and develop strategic plans to drive retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with sales teams, professional services, technical support, and regional sales teams to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities for expansion and upselling.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role as a Customer Success Manager, Helpdesk Manager, Support Engineer, Professional Services Consultant or Sales Engineer.
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of complex software quoting and licensing principles.
  • Experience with sales operations and customer success management platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
