Private Equity Fund Accountant Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Private Equity Fund Accountant to join our international team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading fund services provider, offering administration to alternative asset management firms.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and have experience in private equity fund accounting. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing transaction preparation and processing, generating financial reports for review, and ensuring compliance with fund agreements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage transaction preparation and processing for private equity fund clients, generating financial reports for review.
  • Assist clients and investors with inquiries, responding promptly and accurately.
  • Review fee calculations, ensuring compliance with fund agreements.
  • Handle investor communications, including notices for capital calls and distributions.
  • Maintain the accuracy and compliance of quarterly and annual financial reports with accounting standards.
  • Support year-end audits by assisting clients with external auditors' inquiries.
  • Develop customized service models for new funds and existing ones.
  • Contribute to technology solutions enhancing reporting efficiency and reducing manual processes.
  • Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • An internationally recognized accounting qualification is highly valued.
  • At least 6 years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity.
  • Familiarity with various accounting standards, including IFRS and US GAAP.
