Key Responsibilities

The Senior Leadership Role in Fund Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the production of accurate and timely NAVs, ensuring they meet set procedures. This involves managing workflow through the life cycle of any Fund Accounting sub-function.

The incumbent will operate management and control of the daily workflow within the Fund Accounting team, maximizing capacity through effective resource planning, training and succession planning.

Key responsibilities include ensuring all daily controls and processing are completed and signed off, including client service inquiry resolution, as well as producing key metrics as required.

This role requires direction and leadership to the team, effective communication with the department to ensure staff are aware of strategic and regulatory changes in the organization.

The Senior Leadership Role will also review content and presentation of Standard Operating Procedures, in line with introduction of new policies and ongoing risk management activities.

This is a senior position that contributes to the strategic development of Fund Accounting products, requiring strong stakeholder relationships across locations.

Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of Fund Accounting background with at least 5 years in a Management capacity.
  • Front-to-back understanding of Asset Manager and Owners business and entire life-cycle Fund Accounting operations.
  • Good understanding of Security Types (Bond, Equity etc).
  • Confident communicator in all mediums to both internal and external clients.
  • Strategic thinker, able to review and implement process improvements and automated solutions.
