
Customer Retention Strategist

We're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our customer retention efforts, leveraging expertise in lifecycle marketing, VIP engagement, and membership growth to create a seamless experience for our customers.
About the Role- This role involves designing and executing automated journeys that foster customer loyalty and drive repeat business. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to align retention strategies and maximize customer impact.
You'll be responsible for building and optimizing email and SMS programs, as well as creating exclusive perks and campaigns that surprise and delight our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Email and SMS Programs: Build and optimize advanced flows (welcome, onboarding, replenishment, winback, VIP, membership) that drive engagement and repeat purchases.
- VIP Customer Management: Identify and nurture top buyers with personalized outreach, turning them into affiliates, brand advocates, and case study partners.
- Membership and Loyalty Growth: Grow adoption of our membership plan, reduce churn, and create exclusive perks that keep customers engaged long-term.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Affiliate, PR, Marketplace, and CX teams to align retention efforts and maximize customer impact.
- Proven track record of scaling email/SMS programs for e-commerce.
- Experience in customer retention, VIP management, or loyalty programs.
- Excellent communication skills: strong writing and comfortable engaging directly with customers.
- Data-driven approach: knows how to track, analyze, and present retention metrics.
- Creative mindset: designs flows, perks, and campaigns that surprise and delight customers.
