Development Correspondent Opportunity

The ideal candidate will cover the global development industry, providing in-depth reporting on key issues and trends. This role involves writing exclusive stories, conducting interviews with industry leaders, and contributing to panel discussions and webinars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cover the inside story of the global development industry, including major projects, leadership transitions, mergers, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Write exclusive stories, quick-hit news pieces, long-form features, and newsletters for our audience.
  • Present ideas at weekly editorial meetings and contribute to panels and webinars.
Requirements
  • Experience as a beat reporter, with a proven track record of breaking stories and delivering original reporting.
  • A strong passion for global development and the ability to dig into how the industry works.
  • A network of contacts or the drive to build one quickly.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage directly with readers.
  • Native level of English with excellent written English.
  • A bachelor's degree.
