Job Overview

The Business Analyst role encompasses a unique blend of client relations, technology, and financial services. Key responsibilities include onboarding clients, building and deploying trade templates, ensuring robust connectivity, and supporting testing and ongoing system enhancements.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial services, including equities, derivatives, FX, OTC derivatives, and fixed income. Experience with FTP/SFTP, transport protocols, and PGP encryption is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Onboarding: Gather requirements from clients and vendors, and set up production environments.
  • Trade Template Deployment: Set up necessary templates and code to match specification files.
  • Connectivity: Establish connections to vendor SFTP/FTP servers and update expired keys or passwords.
  • Testing: Mirror trading scenarios to ensure accuracy.
  • Client Support: Adjust or update current trade files, implement additional logic, and provide training to business areas.
  • Problem Resolution: Identify and advocate for efficient software problem resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree required; 2+ years of related experience in financial services preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with SQL, C#, and VBA.
  • Able to work in a team environment, collaborating with clients and internal service teams.
