Job Description:

As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient wound care records, verifying insurance eligibility, and coordinating the supply of essential medical materials. Your expertise in meticulous documentation and effective communication will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the care they need.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage patient wound care records and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate with payers to ensure smooth claims processing.
  • Assess patient wounds and determine the necessary supplies and treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Enter patient, wound, and dressing data into wound orders and spreadsheets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of clinical experience in wound management.
  • Diploma or degree in nursing, medicine, or a related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and customer service skills.
