Account Manager Job Description

The Account Manager plays a vital role in the Service Delivery Unit (SDU) by fostering and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This individual must possess exceptional time and personnel management skills, critical problem-solving abilities, and out-of-the-box thinking. Effective communication, a good sense of urgency, and prioritization are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to oversee execution teams and ensure timely delivery of work and commitments.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to identify and achieve target sales and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide valuable insights to clients.
  • Utilize strong communication and project management skills to deliver on commitments and identify opportunities for business advancement.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in Sales or Account Management.
  • Strong sales history with measurable performance standards in conversion, margin, and overall revenue.
  • Ability to match fixed income with variable income (sales commissions equal to or in excess of base pay).
  • Familiarity with defined sales techniques and strategies.
  • Good working knowledge of current internet technologies.
  • Strong ability to communicate and engage with clients at all levels.
  • Ability to overcome objections and communicate effectively across all employment levels.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and learning abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills with confidence presenting findings, analysis, and information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of online marketing.
  • Exposure to SEO.
  • Work experience with e-commerce companies.
  • Exposure to western cultures.
  • Exposure to programming language.

This role requires a hybrid setup, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
