Mortgage Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mortgage Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our mortgage brokers, ensuring efficient loan processing and seamless client coordination.

  • Assist in gathering and verifying client documents, including identification and financial information.

  • Prepare and submit loan applications to lenders, adhering to strict deadlines and compliance regulations.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, and settlement agents to track loan progress and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loan Application Support & Processing:

    • Verify client documents and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

    • Submit loan applications to lenders, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

  • Client & Lender Communication:

    • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional communication and customer service skills.

    • Coordinate with lenders and settlement agents to track loan progress and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

    • E nsure all documentation is complete, compliant, and accurately submitted to lenders.

    • Conduct preliminary assessments and identify loan options based on client income and financial documentation.

  • Administrative & Support Tasks:

    • Schedule appointments and manage calendars to ensure timely and efficient loan processing.

    • Prepare and send loan estimates and disclosures to clients.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Australian mortgage broking support or back-office loan processing.

  • Experience in handling full loan life cycle from document collection to settlement coordination.

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or industry-specific systems.

  • Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite and cloud collaboration tools.

  • Ability to conduct preliminary assessments and identify loan options based on client income and financial documentation.

  • Exceptional document management skills and attention to detail.

  • Fluent in professional English with the ability to communicate confidently with Australian clients and stakeholders.
