About This Mortgage Support Role

This role is a strategic support position for debt advisory teams, focusing on providing high-quality evidence and research to ensure efficient delivery of advisory services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide critical support to debt advisory specialists in preparing client information and analysis.
  • Develop and manage workflows, prepare broker handovers, and conduct financial statement and tax return analysis.
  • Research market trends and regulatory changes; compile weekly intelligence reports and coordinate valuations with lenders.
  • Manage project timelines, follow up on disputes and reorders, and provide clear summaries and presentation materials from templates.
  • Support cross-team collaboration and maintain a reference database for future use, ensuring professional client communication.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of the mortgage industry, including rates, products, and lending criteria for the Australian market.
  • Credit assessment expertise, including reports, scoring, and serviceability calculations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including statements, tax returns, and complex income structures.
  • Regulatory compliance understanding, including NCCP, responsible lending, and related standards.
  • Technical proficiency: Quickli platform mastery, Broker Engine expertise, advanced Excel/Sheets skills, and strong research methodology.
  • Effective communication skills: professional written communication, cross-team collaboration, and presentation capabilities.

This is a remote, full-time position with an expectation of exclusivity via an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency.

Availability:

Flexibility during core hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM PH Time; disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work.
