Secure Financial Management Role

Vault Cloud, a leading provider of sovereign cloud services, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our financial accounting function. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our finance department and contribute to our company's rapid growth.

This role offers flexibility as you will work from home, collaborating closely with our leadership team in Australia. You will provide critical financial insights that drive our business forward, working alongside our CFO to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

About the Role
  • Lead the financial accounting function: Take ownership of our general ledger processes, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Oversee key financial activities: Manage monthly project costing, departmental reporting, and R&D tax rebate submissions.
  • Enhance our financial systems: Drive continuous improvement of our financial policies and procedures, ensuring efficient and scalable processes.
  • Manage external relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and consultants.
Requirements
  • Highly experienced finance professional with a strong background supporting Australian businesses.
  • Bachelor degree in commerce and/or accounting and CPA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Existing Financial Controller or Finance Manager with 10+ years experience supporting an Australian based business (preferably with operations internationally).
  • Strong working knowledge of Australian payroll and GST legislation.
  • Proven experience managing offshore teams and building relationships with stakeholders across a business.
