Technical Support Role Overview

This position involves providing first-level technical support for customers via various communication channels, including calls, emails, and chats. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of technology.


About the Job

The job entails troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues, guiding customers through step-by-step solutions, and escalating unresolved problems to higher-level teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for documenting interactions and solutions in the ticketing system and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and services.

In addition to resolving customer issues, the incumbent will be required to meet performance targets related to resolution time, customer satisfaction, and accuracy. A strong knowledge of operating systems, browsers, and common software is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field would be an advantage.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a contact center environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, browsers, and common software.
