Job Opportunity: Campus Outreach Specialist

This position involves establishing connections with dining professionals across U.S. colleges and universities to schedule video interviews and gather vital information about gluten-free accommodations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact Identification and Research
    • Identify suitable contacts at target universities, including: campus dietitians, nutritionists, dining services directors, managers, student wellness coordinators, and disability services staff.
  • Contact Verification and Database Updates
  • Prioritizing Outreach Based on University Rankings
  • Professional Phone Calls and Personalized Email Outreach
  • Consistent Follow-up on Initial Outreach Attempts
  • Handling Objections and Redirecting Conversations
  • Maintaining Professional Communication Representing the CeliacU Mission
  • Scheduling Video Interviews
  • Coordinating Across Time Zones and University Schedules
  • Providing Interview Confirmations and Reminders
  • Offering Interview Questions in Advance
  • Rescheduling Interviews as Needed
  • Tracking Outreach Efforts and Metrics
  • Updating Contact Information, Interview Status, and Detailed Notes
  • Monitoring Outreach Progress and Conversion Rates

Target Objectives:

  • Contact and Secure Interviews with Top 100 U.S. Colleges and Universities
  • Expand Outreach to Next 250 Institutions (Public and Private)
  • Achieve Outreach to 1,000 Universities by Year-End

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent Verbal and Written English Communication
  • Professional Phone Presence and Confidence in Cold Calling
  • Ability to Build Rapport with University Staff
  • Strong Email Writing Skills with Attention to Detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Personal Experience with Celiac Disease or Gluten Allergies
  • Previous Experience in B2B Outreach, Sales, or Customer Service
  • Familiarity with Higher Education Institutions
