Support Engineer Role

We are looking for a skilled Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing customer-facing cases, excellent Linux systems administration knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics to customers and coworkers.

Job Description

The Support Engineer role involves resolving customer issues via Zendesk tickets, merge requests, email, and video conferencing. Collaborate with our Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales Teams to build new features and fix bugs. Create and update documentation based on customer interactions.

Prioritize tasks efficiently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards. Participate in regular rotations for weekday and weekend on-call coverage, providing emergency support to our Self-managed and SaaS customers.

About the Team

Our Support team is distributed worldwide, working collaboratively across regions. As a member of our team, you'll participate in pairing sessions, 1:1s, coffee chats, and Slack conversations. We strive for a flexible work environment that allows team members to structure their shifts according to their private life.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in managing customer-facing cases throughout the entire support lifecycle.
  • Excellent Linux systems administration knowledge.
  • Ability to use scripting languages (preferably Ruby or Bash).
  • Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and technologies like Serverless and Kubernetes.
