We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to join our team. As a senior software engineer, you will play a key role in building and scaling our systems and services.
The payments team is responsible for designing and developing a modern global payments and treasury platform. We adopt a technology-focused approach with highly scalable, event-driven systems.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
You will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and implement system architecture, participating in code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
In addition, you will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high test coverage, work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve issues, and participate in defining goals and objectives.
- Design and Develop High-Quality Systems: You will design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software systems that meet the needs of our customers.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement system architecture, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards a common goal.
- Participate in Code Reviews: You will participate in code reviews to ensure that all code meets the highest standards of quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Develop Automated Testing Frameworks: You will develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high test coverage and improve the overall quality of our software systems.
Requirements:
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to have strong problem-solving skills, paired with a proactive mindset, to succeed in this role.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: You will need to have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You will need to have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.
- Experience with Modern Technology: You will need to have experience with modern technology, including cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
- Strong Coding Skills: You will need to have strong coding skills, preferably in Go, to develop high-quality software systems.
