Job Description

The Onboarding Manager position plays a crucial role in the successful integration of clients into our systems. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding process, ensuring seamless transitions, and providing exceptional support to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Implementation
    • Review client financial data for accuracy and completeness.
    • Implement accounting systems, software configurations, and integration setups.
    • Set up new accounting accounts and migrate existing systems.
    • Configure bill and invoicing systems based on client requirements.
  • Accounting Setup & Cleanup
    • Oversee tax return and book balance comparisons to ensure accurate accounting.
    • Direct historical accounting catch-up work, including bank coding and account payable cleanup.
    • Entry and reconcile historical payroll journal entries.
    • Set up investment assets and clearing accounts.
    • Cleanup e-commerce sales records and reconciliations.
    • Supervise and validate key account reconciliations.
    • Review and approve month-end schedules.
    • Ensure development of open items lists and month-close spreadsheets.
  • Client and Team Support & Communication
    • Lead the client onboarding process from sales to steady-state operations.
    • Work closely with accounting teams across industries.
    • Communicate with project managers and clients via email.
    • Create process documentation and transition materials.
  • Leadership & Team Collaboration
    • Lead the onboarding team in planning, strategizing, and assigning client work.
    • Supervise and mentor onboarding team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Collaborate with US Manager on project progress and team updates.
    • Assign and monitor onboarding projects.
    • Act as the main point of contact for escalated onboarding issues.
    • Monitor onboarding KPIs and recommend process improvements.
    • Develop and update onboarding checklists and training materials.
