Job Title

A Technical Service Specialist is required to provide support for products, troubleshoot issues and contribute to knowledge bases in a technical environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance across all channels, including internal teams.
  • Handle calls focused on troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Document cases in a database and contribute to online solutions.
  • Offer appropriate solutions to customer inquiries and develop new solutions as needed.
  • Review solutions to ensure quality of online support capabilities.
  • Develop technical expertise in HVACR products.
  • Perform testing of client scenarios prior to product releases.
Requirements
  • An average to above-average electrical and mechanical engineering background.
  • Experience in a customer support/help desk environment is preferred.
Skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to advise non-technical customers.
  • Strong telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to cross-train and back up functions as needed.
Work Conditions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends with scheduled days off.
  • Ability to function independently in a dynamic environment.
