Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Casework Facilitator to play a key role in the smooth progression of client matters.

This is a full-time, long-term position dedicated to serving one client with 100% remote work. You will be responsible for managing workflows, tracking case statuses, and resolving workflow issues to ensure timely task completion and maintain high operational standards.

As a Casework Facilitator, you will:

  • Monitor and track the firm's legal workflow pipeline to identify tasks and cases that require attention or resource adjustments.
  • Review case statuses weekly to identify overdue tasks, retainer replenishment needs, or delays requiring intervention.
  • Communicate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to clarify task assignments, address workflow issues, and ensure progress is maintained.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining reports to highlight case progress, workflow patterns, and areas needing improvement.
  • Conduct routine checks in the case management system to ensure deadlines, time entries, and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate and facilitate case status meetings with the legal team, ensure active cases are discussed, next steps identified, and tasks assigned appropriately.
  • Provide updates to the Law Firm Administrator on case pipeline status and escalate ongoing challenges requiring higher-level intervention.
  • Assist in implementing changes or improvements to workflows as directed by leadership, offering feedback and suggestions when appropriate.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in a legal environment (e.g., case coordination, paralegal work, or legal operations).
  • Strong understanding of legal workflows and case management processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion with sensitive information.
  • General knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Fully fluent in English.
  • Ability to work U.S. business hours (Pacific, Central, or Eastern Time).
