Personal Injury Litigation Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our litigation support team, you will play a critical role in case preparation and management.

In this position, you will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting and reviewing documents, managing discovery, and assisting with trial preparation. You will ensure cases move forward smoothly by maintaining organized legal files, coordinating deadlines, and providing consistent support.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses for submission to the court.
  • Maintain organized legal files to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research, producing concise and well-supported findings.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials in advance of hearings.
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and schedules to prevent delays.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders to gather and clarify case details.
  • Manage document production and review during discovery.
  • Provide proactive administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of case management.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and filings.
  • Proficiency with case management systems.
  • Skilled in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Reliable high-speed wired internet with a tested backup option.
