Medical Case Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Case Coordinator to join our team. This individual will be responsible for coordinating med-legal cases, communicating with attorneys and medical providers, and managing documentation to support legal-related referrals and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the flow of information between medical providers, attorneys, and patients, ensuring timely updates and accurate record-keeping.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, conveying complex medical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage documentation, including medical reports, billing, liens, and other legal correspondence, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that medical records are up-to-date and accurately reflect patient treatment plans.
  • Generate and send reports, summaries, and other documents as required by law or regulation.
Requirements
  • Experience in medical case management, insurance, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex medical and legal issues.
  • Proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
