About the Job:

Overview

We are seeking an Ecommerce Director to lead our e-commerce initiatives and drive sales and profitability on Lazada and Shopee, as well as other local marketplaces.

The successful candidate will work closely with the commercial director and other departments to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities to increase customer engagement and revenue.

The role requires strong analytical skills, preferably with P&L knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The Ecommerce Director will be responsible for developing and implementing e-commerce strategies, monitoring and analyzing e-commerce market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, and at least 5 years' experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a management role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies to drive sales and profitability.
  • Work closely with the commercial director and other departments to optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor and analyze e-commerce market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead the commercial team in the execution of e-commerce initiatives and ensure goals are met.
  • Prepare and present reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant data to senior management.
  • Continuously improve e-commerce processes and systems to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in e-commerce, with at least 3 years in a management role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, and trends.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and profitability on e-commerce platforms.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, preferable with P&L knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
