Key Business Intelligence Role

This is a critical position responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, automated dashboards and reports to track performance against operational goals and initiatives.

  • Collaborate with management and stakeholders to define business requirements and analytical needs.
  • Develop a deep understanding of eCommerce performance metrics and create new KPIs to gauge performance.
  • Own regular analysis on operational performance and projects to continuously improve eCommerce operations.
  • Communicate root causes of performance impacts and attainment of business objectives.
  • Develop actionable insights and opportunities for eCommerce performance, make recommendations, and present findings to stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct data mining, regression analysis, and quantitative analysis using industry standard statistical techniques.
  • Perform data modeling using existing models or modifying them as needed.
  • Work to structure eCommerce customer and operational data ensuring reliability and integrity of data sources.
  • Partner across departments to obtain information, align priorities, and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  • Identify opportunities and challenges using data in current processes and metrics to ensure proactive response.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or similar field.
    • 2 or more years of experience in eCommerce, operations, fulfillment, finance, analytics, and/or Power BI.
      • Proven experience with data query technologies (e.g. SQL, Teradata, Snowflake).
        • Proven experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Domo).
