We are seeking a seasoned legal expert to join our team as a Senior Legal Counsel.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ecommerce, corporate and commercial matters, with a strong focus on providing sound advice on day-to-day operations, working with external law firms, implementing corporate governance standards, maintaining legal records, and assisting with legal disputes.
Key Responsibilities:- Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts with third parties such as restaurants and shops, marketing partners, and suppliers.
- Craft corporate documents and communications for customers, suppliers, and vendors (e.g., terms and conditions, policies, etc.).
- Monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations and assist in developing corrective action plans.
- Liaise with regional and central legal teams to ensure common standards and practices on all legal matters.
- A lawyer with 5-6 years of work experience, specializing in ecommerce, corporate and commercial matters.
- Knowledgeable and updated with local e-commerce/internet law, corporate governance matters, and labor laws.
- Seasoned in drafting and reviewing various types of contracts and pleadings.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced and agile environment.
