Job Overview

As an Instructional Designer, you will play a vital role in shaping our company's values and philosophy.

You will be responsible for creating curriculum within our established processes and expectations, incorporating experiential learning and adult learning principles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing consultation and project management in curriculum and instructional design for in-class, hybrid, and online courses
  • Proposing course designs and collaborating with trainers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Assisting in assessing instructional outcomes, analyzing curriculum goals, and implementing high-level learning strategies
  • Supporting the integration of social media tools, graphics, and emerging learning technologies

Additionally, you will:

  • Conduct need assessments and design, develop, and facilitate training programs
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to address employee and client development needs
  • Develop a library of all modules and curriculums

Furthermore, you will support Learning Management System (LMS) implementation and provide workshops, demos, or phone training sessions. You will also create documentation and instructions for course developers.

To ensure the effectiveness of our training programs, you will identify gaps, create action plans, and design evaluations using the Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation.

Qualifications and Skills

We are looking for individuals with:

  • A college graduate degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in instructional design, educational technology, distance learning, and training development
  • Familiarity with LMS platforms and tools like Articulate and/or Captivate
  • Certification in Learning and Performance (CPLP) is desirable

Successful candidates will possess strong skills in training, teaching, program management, and communication.
