This highly motivated and strategic Business Development Manager will lead partnerships with media agencies and sell advertising space across digital platforms. The role focuses on growing revenue by building relationships, negotiating trade deals, and running workshops to showcase capabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with key media agencies to grow ad revenue across in-app and digital channels.
- Negotiate annual trade deals to secure consistent investment from agencies.
- Conduct workshops and learning sessions with media agencies and brand clients to showcase advertising solutions and co-create media plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute campaigns and deliver measurable results.
- Act as a subject matter expert on advertising offerings, industry trends, and buying behavior.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and upselling opportunities.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in media sales, digital advertising, or agency partnerships, preferably in the eCommerce, media, or tech industry.
- Proven success in selling digital media solutions to agencies or brands.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of the media agency ecosystem and how buying decisions are made.
- High initiative, ownership, and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proficient in Excel; experience with media planning tools and ad platforms is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
