Job Overview

This role involves ensuring the accurate and complete intake of medical records, playing a critical part in downstream success.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provider Research & Identification:
    • Identify relevant providers associated with a client's treatment.
    • Locate billing providers and related entities using tools such as Chartswap, prior requests, and direct provider calls.
    • Add all identified providers to the request in the admin app.
  2. Request Creation & Quality Control:
    • Review and correct incoming ROIs which are incomplete or inaccurate in ~90% of cases.
    • Prepare accurate base forms and generate complete submission packets.
    • Conduct a thorough QA review of each ROI packet ensuring cover letters, affidavits, and provider-specific requirements are correct.
  3. Request Assignment & Escalation:
    • Assign requests to the appropriate records team member based on workload and utilization.
    • Identify and escalate special provider requirements or edge cases to the Client Success Manager.
    • Coordinate with law firms' case managers to resolve missing or conflicting information.
Requirements
  1. Prior experience requesting medical records from providers on behalf of law firms.
  2. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  3. Proficiency with Adobe and PDF editing/combining tools.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
