Job Description

This role encompasses several key areas of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, personnel administration, learning and development, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the company's inner workings and have prior experience in HR to effectively address local business and people requirements in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment where English is the primary business language.

  • Work from corporate office in Cebu City twice a week and production site in Minglanilla three times a week.
  • Coordinate all employee-related questions and work closely with frontline managers, supervisors, and employees to improve work relationships, build positive culture and morale, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
  • Implement local HR policies to ensure compliance with local legislation and alignment with corporate HR policies; support monitoring and handling disciplinary action cases.
  • Support and partner with HR Manager in designing and implementing employee programs that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as a positive company culture and core values.
  • Ensure participation of the business unit, department, or function on HR programs and activities.
  • Verify accuracy of details in documentation of personnel files and employee movements.
  • Coordinate full people life-cycle at the location(s), including recruiting, onboarding, promotions, relocations, and offboarding; monitor and support ensuring effectiveness of performance management system in all levels of the organization.
  • Communicate or conduct orientation sessions for new employees and ensure effective implementation of onboarding program and support new hires integration successfully.
  • Support and/or participate in HR projects, including reorganizations, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Uphold company's code of ethics and business conduct.
  • Manage and maintain correct HR data in HR systems and offer relevant training to line managers and supervisors of standard process to ensure total accuracy in HR systems.
  • Update relevant HR reports timely and ensure data correction according to company needs.
  • Support employee learning program locally, like New Hire Orientation, annual ADM required training, compliance training, etc.
  • Monitor monthly payroll and relevant payment, monitor service level of vendor's delivery, propose needs to drive SLA achievement and improvement.
  • Other Human Resources tasks assigned by Immediate Manager.
